Work Experience

Senior Software Engineer

2025 - Present / MVZ Dr. Stein & Kollegen SE & Co. eGbR

MVZ is a medical lab. Here I am implementing solutions within the lab's information system (LIS) and work out interface solutions using the lab's communication server. This requires knowledge within medical communication protocol standards like LDT and HL7. The LIS uses its own programming language called MPL - short for MOLIS programming language.
Besides that I implement solutions that improve the process of resolving issues for my colleagues and me. Those I realize using better known languages like Kotlin, TypeScript or PHP and frameworks like SpringBoot, NextJs, or Laravel and Symfony.

CEO / Senior Software Engineer

The Finamon AG is a startup company in the fields GPS tracking, health care and consulting. They offer hard- and software solutions in those areas.
I started the company as CEO. After being involved into mainly organizational and project management tasks, I wanted to concentrate on software development again. Thus, I switched to the position of a Senior Software Engineer focusing on building full-stack solutions for mobile and web.

Software Engineer

2016 - 2022 / Prothelis AG

The Prothelis AG is a manufacturer of GPS tracking devices for various usage scenarios. During my time at the Prothelis AG, I was mainly involved in building the software solution that is now used by thousands of users to use their GPS devices. This included development on front- and backend-side.
Also, I had the opportunity to lead the development department, including the departments of hardware development, software development and product design.

Mobile Developer

"bam!" offer me the opportunity to write my bachelor thesis at their working place. When I finished my study, I stayed as a Mobile Developer mainly for Android development. As this was my first job as software developer I learned a lot during those years. And I am still gratefully for every advice. Still today, I apply a lot of what I learned in my daily life.

I continued my study journey by applying at Fontys and would consider it a choice I wouldn't want to miss. As a kind of a career changer, considering my previous field of work, the first semester was challenging. But as I always love to learn new things, it definitely was worth it.
